Playing Live Dealer Casino Holdem Online

Casino Holdem is a casino game variant of Texas Holdem which can now be played online against live dealers. Casino Holdem is a fun game to play and is easy to learn whether you have played regular Texas Holdem in the past or not.

To win playing Casino Holdem you must beat the dealer by making your best poker hand out of the 7 cards you have to play with. If you beat the dealer you are always paid at least your Ante bet amount and if you beat the dealer and the dealer "qualifies" (see below), you are then paid odds based on how good of a poker hand you have.

Casino Holdem is played in the following order after placing your initial bet which is your "Ante" bet.

• Place Ante Bet
• 2 Hole Cards Dealt to Each Player (Face Down)
• 3 Community Cards are Dealt Face Up
• Player must decide to Bet or Fold
• 2 Additional Cards are Dealt Face Up
• Winner Determined

After placing your Ante Bet all players (including the dealer) are dealt 2 hole cards. Three more cards are then dealt and placed face up in the middle of the table. These are called "Community Cards" and all players can use any or all of the community cards placed in the middle of the table. As the player, you want to make your best poker hand using both your 2 hole cards and the 3 community cards.

Once the 3 community cards are dealt, you (as the player) must choose to Fold or Call. If you fold the game is over and you surrender your Ante Bet. If you think you have a good hand and can beat the dealer you can "Call" and must place a wager equal to 2 times your Ante Bet.

If you call, 2 more cards are dealt face up adding to the previous 3 community cards for a total of 5. Using any combination of your 2 hole cards and the 5 community cards, you make your best poker hand in an effort to beat the dealer. When determining your best hand, you can use any of the 7 cards available to you. You can use 1, 2 or neither of your hole cards.

Once all 7 cards have been dealt, the dealer will then automatically show his hand and the winner is dertimined. If the dealer has the best hand you lose and the game is over. If you beat the dealer 1 of 2 scenarios follow. If the dealer has a pair of 4's or better, the dealer "qualifies" and your winning hand is paid off using the Casino Holdem Ante Payouts Chart to the right. If the dealer does not qualify you are paid even money on your Ante Bet and your Call bet is returned without a payout.

When playing Casino Holdem the computer will always determine what your best poker hand is so there are no mistakes and you never miss being paid with a winning hand. As the player, if you go to the Showdown and beat the dealer, you want the dealer to qualify. Whether the dealer qualifies or not can mean the difference between winning even money on your Ante bet or receiving odds on your bet as high as 100-1. Unfortunately, even if you have a Royal Flush and the dealer does not qualify you are only paid even money on your Ante Bet and your call bet is returned.
