To play casino holdem you start by simply placing your “Ante” bet and then you and the dealer are dealt cards face down. In addition, 3 cards are dealt face up which are community cards just like when playing standard Texas Holdem. Now with your two hole cards and the 3 community cards, you decide whether to stay in the hand or fold. If you fold the game is over and you lose your Ante bet. If you decide to play you make a “Call” bet which is twice the amount of your Ante bet. Once you Call, 2 more community cards are dealt and you must make your best poker hand out of your 2 hole cards and the 5 community cards.
Once you determine your best poker hand (the computer actually automatically tells you your best hand) it is a showdown between you and the Dealer. If the Dealer’s hand is better than your hand you lose and the game is over. If your hand is better then there are two possible scenarios. First, if the Dealer has less than a pair of 4’s the Dealer does not “Qualify” and you are paid even money on your Ante bet and your Call bet is returned. If the dealer does Qualify with a pair of 4’s or better you are then paid odds on your winning hand depending on the value of your hand. Obviously the better the poker hand the more you are paid. Receive up to 100:1 if you are lucky enough to get a Royal Flush!
