We are not smart enough to figure out such a chart unless we would physically deal thousands of hands of blackjack and keep track of the outcome, but we can say many smarter people than us have also used Math and statistics to verify the chart is correct and they agree it does. We can also say that through personal use of this blackjack strategy chart we have seen winnings increase and losing sessions decrease.

Because we know the strategy chart does work, you may wonder why casinos allow players to use such a chart. There are a few reasons but the biggest reason is because you must remember that thousands of hands were played to get to the respective answers of when to hit, stand etc. and in the short term you obviously are not going to win every hand even if you play exactly the way the chart says. You may see a run of a hundred cards where even by playing using the optimal strategy you lose well more than 50% of the time.
